HI, I'm in the process in building a new computer for gaming and general web design based tasks.

Gaming would mostly be on a 42" 1080p TV & general tasks on a standard 19" LCD monitor.

The components I have in mind after doing a little research are:

- Intel i5 3570K
- ASUS P8H77-VLE motherboard
- Zotac GeForce 650 Ti Boost
- Corsair Vengeance 16gb ddr3
- Corsiar 500 watt modular PSU
- NZXT X60 CPU cooler
- WD 1TB Black HDD

I can spend around 800~900$ on them. Are these okay to go with ?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just realized that the build is terrible.
It's been 4 years that I last built one, lost keeping track about the latest tech. :pfff:

Isn't the Ge-Force series good?

It is, so either get a GTX 760 or a 7870. The 7870 is cheaper and the best bang for your buck. If your on a budget just get the 7870. There isn't much difference: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/857?vs=854 - but the 760 is slightly better.
