Gaming computers with xp

Hello,
i have recently downloaded third age total war mod on my computer which has windows vista, however when i play it, it lags and when playing a custom game several campaign pictures appear all over the screen blocking the view. is this because it is a mod for medival total war 2 which requires windows xp to play please help. thanx

Did you follow the directions at the bottom? Does Total War run fine? Try updating your graphics drivers.
