It looks good, but I would consider exchanging the water cooling for something a bit cheaper and maybe downgrading the CPU. You don't really have to pay for the eight cores unless you plan on rending videos often or have some new age games that I don't know about. Good luck!

600 watt should be enough for your setup, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to grab maybe a 650 at the cost of water cooling. Could just be me though. I've always found water cooling to be over rated for most builds.

edit: I was typing this thinking it was OP's post lol. Don't mind the quote.

800 watt is probably the way to go. and just go stock with the cpu for now. It might get a little noisy under load but it'll survive as long as you don't OC and yeah, there's hardly any difference between the 8320 and 8350

This is just a plan ahead as I will build this baby at around July or August when I receive my summer salary. Can you tell me more about the newer r300? As I heard the r9 280x is just rebranded.

As for the cooler, my old desktop actually broke down due to overheated (but it was around 8 years ago though) so I put the water cooler there on the safe side. Is the water cooler really overrated? Then what cooler should I get?

This way outperforms anything else suggested. I would also suggest getting the Windows 10 Preview, which is free currently.

I'm kinda confused between AMD and Intel system. Personally I think Intel is overpriced but I haven't tried out AMD so I don't know their performance, but the price is cheaper than Intel though.

For the GPU, I watched some YouTube videos about comparison between Radeon and and Geforce card and I have to say I like the Radeon color better.

So I'm still considered about whether to go with AMD or Intel for either CPU or GPU.

Intel cpu's are better, just a fact.

As for graphics cards, it depends on your budget.
If you get something cheaper than a gtx 970, AMD tends to be a better price for the performance.
The gtx 970 is in a good spot price to performance wise and kicks ass at 1080p gaming.

Intel cpu's have much higher per core performance. You can't just compare frequencies. An i5 running at 3ghz is faster than an AMD fx running at 3ghz.

I dont think color is something you should go off of. The same GPUs come in different color so that shouldn't be an issue. The Xeon outperforms the 8350.

I mean the color display on the monitor by the GPU not the GPU's color itself.

Thanks for the replies everyone and I think I will go for an intel CPU and an AMD GPU (the gtx 970 is too much for me to handle btw). For now I will just wait until summer and see if there are any good deals on these parts.
