Gaming Freeze after Upgrading GPU

Hello,
i upgraded my GPU from Nforce 6150se (onboard) to GT 440 DDR5 1gb and after that my games are freezing for about 2-10 secs.any help please?

my specs :
mobo: pccchips a51g
cpu: amd athlon II x2 250 @ 3.00 ghz
ram: 3 gb rAM
PSU: 700 watt Fortess
GPU:gt 440 nvidia

Not much info to go on, but I'm going to make an educated guess and blame your motherboard. Never even heard of that brand before.

Well not only that but its a 3rd party board of well from what i can tell, a NVIDIA Ghipset....

What games were you trying to play, and also is your power supply a brand name or just.... 700 watt cheapo. if so then its a no go. which i would think a 70 watt would power a GT 440 that doesn't require ANY external power

i don't think it's motherboard last 4 days i upgraded my GPU from onboard to Gt 440 then my games started tO freeze randomly.

I am playing cs:s CoD4: MW1 and CoD: WAW. it's just geric brand PSU. do you think the psu is my problem?

BWT pcchips brand is powered by ECS
