Planning on a build for both gaming and graphics use, using GeForce GTX 1080, Intel i7 - 4790K,CORSAIR Graphite 780T case, CORSAIR Vengeance LP DDR3 PC Memory - 2 x 8 GB DIMM RAM, and Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3 Socket 1150 ATX Motherboard and more besides. I was wondering if I could get any advice on where I can the best prices, as the total price is a bit above my price range at 3.1k, and if I should know anything in advance about the items above in relation to their performance and durability.

Gonna suggest a slightly different build.
These parts are based in the fact that my current build is ~3000 usd
Cpu i7 7700k
Mobo Asus Z270 A Prime
GPU gtx 1080 Strix base clock 1607 edition
Power supply seasonic 500-550w
Get gskill ripjaw V ram. It costs less.

The power supply costs much Les than the one I got. The motherboard I suggested is cheaper than mine. I also have expensive fans that you don't need. Those changes should get you under 2600usd which is about 2500 euros. Pricing might vary.

There are other versions of the 1080 that might be less, I just suggest Asus. I think EVGA is having a sale on one of their models. If you dont want to slap $120usd on a corsair h115i you can get a Noctua NH-D15 for the cpu for 89 usd. Don't skimp on this core. It runs hot and needs premium cooling.

Thanks for the advice on the ram and psu. I think that i'll definitely use the gskill ripjaw V ram, as it costs less and is much faster and better than the ddr3 I was considering buying. Also the seasonic seems good, but it's quite hard to come by where I am. The i7 7700k and the Asus Mobo are quite a bit more expensive than the current cpu and mobo I had in mind. I will take your word for Noctua as a fan, but I need to do a bit more research as there is a decently priced water cooling system that'll do the job in a hardware store near my home. I think i'm gonna skip getting a different version of the 1080 in the Asus store, as the best priced new 1080 there is 40 euro up from the price I have of 730 euro. Thanks for helping me out though!

Recently had a (major) setback to 1700 euro. My friend has a build for me to look at for about that price, so I think I will just leave the whole build as above where it is until I get more money to contribute to it, or maybe just update this page to the build he is recommending to see if I can get any second opinions on that. Thanks for the help though!
