i recently found a deal for 2 670s and wanted to know if i should spend 30 dollars more for a 970

For you 670 SLI, you can subtract 12 - 15% from the 770 SLI figures. You will see that the 970 is better in most games. It will get even better with subsequent driver updates, while the 670 is a mature card and will not get significantly better. So, go for the 970.
Also, remember that a single card solution gives you smoother and more consistent performance than a dual card.
Yes.. you should go with gtx 970.. it beats gtx 670 dual graphics cards and gtx 670 is too old card . It can't give you better performance and features.. gtx 970 is a newer graphics card.. its give you better technology and better features..
