Gaming headset as a microphone?

Hi i've bought a dell s2716DG monitor and it doesn't have speakers built it. It has an audio jack in the side which i use for now. But i would much rather plug into the back of the computer and use it as a microphone/headset for online gaming. What do i need in order to do this? I use turtle beaches px24's also connected to one of those superhuman box things. And it will connect straight to the motherboard on back of pc i believe. Thanks

If it has a headset/speaker plug (green) and a microphone plug (pink) you should be able to just plug them into the back of your motherboard in their respective colored ports.
