Hi all,
I'm looking for a recommendation on a gaming headset. I recently upgraded from an inexpensive set to the BlasterX H7 Tournament headset. It sounds great, but I'm finding that some sounds are too quiet or too loud, and I haven't been able to find a balance. I have their software, but it's more complicated than I'm looking for. I don't want to spend 12 hours of gameplay doing test runs on every sound option before everything is "just right."
The ideal set would provide high quality gaming audio, have a crystal clear mic, and will work without much (if any) tuning from audio software. I have zero desire to need a different sound profile if I'm playing a FPS, RPG, listening to music, watching a movie, etc.
Price range is flexible. Would like to be under $250, but would be willing to spend more for the perfect product. I also realize that if I'm not willing to work with tuning software, the more expensive sets may be a waste of money.
Any thoughts/advice appreciated, thanks in advance!
