So my logitech g930 is finally giving out on me, the left side has broken and really loose, luckily it pops back in for the time being till it breaks all the way off and by then I will have a new one. The audio and mic are going out randomly sometime, ear cushions super worn out, but I have had this headset for over 2 years now I believe, and its the best headset I have ever owned.

I am tempted to buy another g930, but I kinda want something different, I was hoping there was an upgrade of the g930 but I'm not seeing anything. I've looked at the Corsair Vengeance 2000, supposedly its exactly like the g930 but different shell, although some say they preferred the g930. Also looked at the astro a50's but those are quite pricey..

Basically my absolute requirements are
- Wireless
- Under $200

Don't...

You know, headsets are all about comfort, IMO. And that is such a subjective matter. You're in an enviable position to know that you liked a particular headset line, so if I were you I'd go with the same pair (or the new, upgraded model whichever it is).

For example, I'm a big Sennheiser fan. I love how their headphones fits on my ear cups, and not around them. Yet for many people, this is extremely bothersome, to the point of being painful for some. Since you know that you like your logitech, and that they're relatively cheap compared to other more "premium" brands, I wouldn't bother.

If you stay in the under $200 department, mostly you will get sidegrades.

Also note that in terms of audio quality, headsets are not really what you should be looking fore (thou i agree that sennhesier ahs some decent headsets).

All depends on how much you want it to be better.

Here are a bit of examples:

As you will see (if you read all the articles), "Upgrades" normally go at jumps in prices quite big.

In headsets.... few really matter, but if its usb its probably crap, since no headphone that is respected uses usb.
YOu need a good soundcard or a DAC to get the best out of those.
