Hey guys i am going to buy a laptop and was wondering should i go with the as us rog g750js because of its duel fans and 17.3 inch screen? Or the msi gt60 dominator 424 with a smaller 15.6 inch screen and lighter weight, which can be used for school? I know the Asus is more but i am willing to spend more money to get a better product, so please do not compare price. Thank You!

I have an Asus G75 at the moment, which was the line replaced by the G750 - I personally love it. The thing is built like an absolute tank and has endured a lot of abuse through college, and it's still going strong. Stays very cool for a laptop, has an excellent screen, the speakers are a bit lacking, but it packs more than enough power for anything I throw at it and is probably one of the most physically solid laptops available right now. I do like MSI - they've made nearly all the motherboards I've owned - but I feel like the Asus is a higher quality unit, and is worth the extra as long as you're willing to put up with the extra bulkines that comes with a large 17" laptop.

That's just my opnion. Take it for what it's worth. :) Both are good laptops, and you'll have to judge whether or not you'd rather have a 15" or 17" - that's probably the biggest decision.

I can benefit from it. I do not NEED it for school but that is just like a extra benefit. Do you think that the Asus is a better option or the msi for gaming?

Same gpu. The main difference is size and cooling. Do you think that it would be better to get a laptop with 2 fans (g750js) compared to one fan (gt60 dominator 424)? It is also bigger and heavier (9.9 pounds) which i could never use for school becuase it is too big and heavy (school use is not a priority just a benefit). Will the dual fan Asus laptop last longer?

I think the biggest decision is the fans. I would rather have dual fans but 17 inch might be too big.

2 fans vs. one fan doesn't matter. They are not the same fan, not the same laptop, not the same design, not the same heatsink. So you cannot compare the two cooling designs. For all we know, the single fan design might cool BETTER. Don't even consider this as a bargaining point.

Ok, so should i add if diamond thermal paste and/or copper cooling upgrade for the gt60 dominator 424 will it be worth the money by xotic pc?

Honestly, no it will not be worth it. Those really are marketing scams. The thermal paste they will use if you do not select ic diamond is exactly equivalent.

If they knew the computer would overheat without these option, they would not even offer them as option, they would require them.
