Gaming laptop for 450$ USD

My freind wants a gaming laptop for xmas.

Why not a desktop you can get much better value and performance for less money and its much easier to upgrade a desktop and you can overclock

Someone has posted that "deal" before. If you click on the "Used (1) from $499.00" link, you see that it is a used product, claimed to be like new by a new seller who has no feedback. It is likely a scam.

Shame on Amazon for making it impossible to figure this out from the main listing page.

Well there is certainly not any better for that price
But that is a "too good to be true" price.
I get it is last years model but retail on those specs should be $1100 or more.
And the brand is a no-name I have never heard before.
The whole thing seems really really sketchy.

For $450 you can get an APU laptop that will play games on low to medium settings, and the CPU will suck for any other tasks.
Otherwise you will need to double your budget for something with an .....HQ i5 or i7 cpu and a decent GPU.
