Question Gaming Laptop Or Xbox One?

Ok so I came across a y510p laptop, I7 12g ram, dual 750m sli gpu's for 200$

I can't decide to buy this or an Xbox One S and TV for 200$

I am an PC gamer from way back and like to get back into it. Just curious how the laptop would perform compared to the Xbox one and if new titles would be playable on the laptop like ESO, Farcry 5 and Call of duty ww2

SLI support is poor nowadays, I don't think it'll play FC5/COD:WW2 very well. Between the two options I'd go Xbox One S/TV over that older laptop. Plus with the Xbox One S you'll still be able to play those newer games without issues and can play some PC MMO's such as Tera on it.

XBOS + TV seems like a much better route.

The laptop is quite dated, and going to be disappointing in modern titles. In titles with no/poor SLI support, a single 750M is what you're left with and that's (roughly) in desktop Gt730 territory performance-wise.

Thanks for the input guys. Looks like I'll be trolling some budget builds seeing I haven't built a machine since AMD FX days.
