Looking for at least a GTX 1070 laptop, possibly push to 1080 within reason, at least 16GB RAM. Screen quality is quite important as I would like it to look fantastic.
I am actually interested in the 15.6" ASUS ROG STRIX GL502VS-GZ389T, (120Hz FHD G-SYNC, i7 7700HQ, 16GB DDR4, 128GB NVMe SSD+1TB HDD, 8GB GTX 1070, Win10)
http://
But I began reading about thermal throttling issues which put me off a little.
MSI GT73EVR Titan was another I have seen and quite impressed by, little larger than I would like but it ticks all the other boxes.
I am very tempted to push the boat out and get an Asus ROG Zephryus due to it's insane size and power but very aware other much more capable laptops sit in that price bracket with much better thermals. It's a stunning looking laptop but I have not read much into how much power the MaxQ drops compared to standard ones.
I was also wondering if it was worth holding off until June-ish when the new batches arrive but then that is the kind of waiting game you can play forever with laptops and PC's...
