Hello I am looking for a gaming laptop for a family member around the 700 mark but cheaper the better as will be a Christmas present. Has to be a laptop as still at university and possibly studying abroad so desktop is out.
Games played will range from point and click adventures through to minecraft through to the latest titles.
I have done some digging and the 960m seems to be the sweet spot for graphical power and price here in the UK, the rest is kind of second to that really. Ram all seem to come with at least 8gb, SSD if it doesn't come with one then i will just fit a m.2 as nearly all mobo's that I have seen can have one fitted. Screen prefer a 15.6 as 17 is a bit big (There words). Battery is secondary as will always be plugged in gaming.
Anyone have any ideas??
Have seen the MSI ge72 but its 17" and 800 but was hoping to find something cheaper.
