Hi! I'm really upset with the editting performance on my ASUS ROG GL553VD laptop:
(Intel® Core™ i7 7700HQ , NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050)

BSOD error on a nvlddmkm.sys all the time, the apps close, the laptop freezes.. I tried changin the project settings (only mercury playback, cuda and OpenCl).
I understand the problem of the interaction between the intelGPU integrated and the NVIDIA dedicated GPU, but still cant solve it, or the problem of power suply.

Anyway, my question is if a lower specs PC could show better performance than the laptop. For example: https://www.pccomponentes.com/pccom-startup-intel-core-i5-8400-8gb-240ssd
(Intel Core i5-8400 2.8GHz, Crucial DDR4 2400 PC4-19200 8GB, no GPU).

Any other under1000€PC/components that could achive a better perfomance than the laptop would be a great help!

Thank you all!

and sorry about my spanish' english!

You buy a laptop for portability.
A desktop will usually give better performance for the dollar, and one big benefit is that it can be upgraded.

As to the best configuration, do some google searches for your apps.
There will be some forums which will give you more informed advice.
