Hello, I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop for around $750-900, has to have a backlit keyboard and decent enough to run high end video games. I was looking into some MSI laptops but they seem to be kinda expensive. I've also heard Sager laptops look very unattractive. Looking to any suggestions, thank you.

Honestly your budgeting for a DESKTOP not a LAPTOP. When considering you want the same performance level as a Desktop you have to DOUBLE the costs to get a machine that will not weigh 25Lbs or more, doesn't burn through the battery in 15-30 minutes, doesn't literally melt and catch fire (seen that happen before) , etc. etc. that laptops provide. THAT requires CUSTOMIZED pieces, cooling, and other things, this drive UP the cost.

The ones suggested only have ONE SSD, the first one a SMALL one (consider Office and Windows alone take up 80GB) and both are running 1050TI, a good card, BUT NO you won't get " decent enough to run high end video games" like you see on YOUTUBE.

If you want a GAMERS PC laptop, you need to pay at least $1200 to nearly $2K depending how much performance you want out of it, aka double your budget. Now if your WILLING to play games at MEDIUM graphics and accept around 40-50FPS or so, then your in the right price range with your budget.

I understand that a decent laptop would cost around that range. The problem is I already have a desktop and I'm looking for a laptop that can satisfy my needs for gaming while travelling. The laptop the person suggested is perfect, only problem being is memory. Anyways medium graphics are okay with me since I care more about gameplay. By any chance, do you know where I could find a cheap and decent HDD I could buy for that laptop?

If the Laptop has a second slot (look up the laptop's manufacturer support page then look up the manual for that model) you can easily buy any 2.5" drive to fit in depending on what your looking for, but your still looking (normally a 1TB or more) at a additional $100 (tax, shipping) on top of the laptop's base price. www.pcpartpicker.com is the recommended place for parts.
