I have been preparing to build a computer for gaming and I have been looking for help, but so far I have been told there are better options for lower prices and so on. I am looking for any possible remakes or changes to this build.

My budget should be kept around $1,000 and I will mainly be using this for gaming. You can change anything in this system build and it will be appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Solution
In order for me to optimize the build you need to tell what games do you currently play and what games do you plan on playing.

Btw the peripherals kill you, not the actual build.

This was the best i could do considering your peripherals are the ones keeping the price up. If you were to choose a less expensive case, a 120hz monitor instead of 144hz and get rid of that mechanical keyboard the price would be closer to 1000$
Also you can borrow windows 8.1 from a friend :)) or so i've heard - until you get some cash to buy one.
