Gaming monitor choices

Hello I do not know which of these two monitors to choose I want to play games on them I currently play on a Vizio 42inch TV 120Hz 2ms

If you want the 120Hz for 3D or smoother animation, you'll want the Acer. If not, the ViewSonic is larger and probably has a better static contrast ratio (static contrast is claimed as 1200:1; I can't find specification of the static contrast ratio for the Acer)

Yea I will not use for 3D at least yet what I really like about my Vizio is I can set smooth motion which helps when its high for gaming or low for watching movies or shows is it the same option in the Acer?

I imagine there's a good chance of it having a similar option, but Acer doesn't offer an online copy of the manual to confirm that.
