Hello friends,

I have posted question about underwhelming performance of my system and based on answers I received I found out that my monitor is locking potential of my system and needs to be replaced as it is 720p screen I tested with HD TV and however it is too low resolution one so couldn't get correct answer util I tested with one of my friends 144 Hz monitor and I got splendid results. So I decided to go with this model as he is using same and this one is cheap as well and mostly positive reviews around internet.

I hope monitor guys can look into it and help me with my system specs.

Ryzen 2600
AsRock AB350 Gaming K
GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Corsair Vengeance LPR DDR4 3000 Mhz - 16GB

Thank you :)

It is almost $80 expensive when I calculate non dollar price including discounts and one that I tested was on DVI cable and was working just fine.

Anyway It can be used for reference so thank you for your contribution.

I said it would have to be DVI only.

That's if you want to buy an 8 year old monitor. ;)

That's how old that model is.

I get your point here, It is old model certainly where 3D gaming was full force but spending $80 with "not day and knight difference" between two monitor also kept me thinking and put this topic here.

There is a huge difference between the models.

Thank you, If you can explain that would be much better.

Would you pay full price for an 8 YO car that's been sitting and never sold?

That's basically what the monitor has been doing, sitting in a warehouse for 8 years.

Technology has changed a lot in those 8 years.

Electronics age even if they aren't being used.....

That's not an aswer but an excuse for somethings that too good its time that It plays better after so many years and yet you resist of its supremacy over NEW TECHNOLOGY.

I don't buy you point at all. Give me something on data to anlyse and believe in what you are saying. I am well aware about technology is advanced in 8 years but what are the data points that proves me wrong on choosing a product which is still fairing better than most of its rivals.

You CAN look it up yourself.

However it would be separate reviews so it would be hard to compare them side by side.

And no an 8 YO monitor wouldn't compare better than a new latest model, there is no way that would be possible.

And on top of that it was a low end budget Monitor in the 1st place.

First of all I am sorry for being too harsh.

Secondly I looked up for other features and decided to go with this one. Please look and let me know if it is better. BENQ

This one is better and on sale also, not much difference between the two, read about both and pick the one you like the best.
