So i have my build home and all that i got it set up but my monitor is a little old and unfit for all my gaming needs
So I was doing some research and since my main purpose is gaming i thought i should get a TN panel monitor since they have better refresh rates, however i look at IPS pannels as well and i was thinking
I want:
-To run games at 1080p
-A medium sized monitor, dont want something 13' but i also dont want a 30' monitor
-Something that will not lagg my GTX 770 and that will run good with it
I also have a question, ppl say TN pannels are better for gaming because they are faster (can get up to 120-144hz refresh rate) so my question is, do i really need 120hz refresh rate? Because i will be playing games like BF4 and the GTX 770 gets 60-70 fpss on it, or is there something i am mixing up here? With a 120hz monitor and a GPU that goes at 60fpss will it not be useless to have those 120hz, because the monitor wont have any visuals to refresh? Because if 120hz is useless and the speed doesnt matter than i should just get an IPS screen right?
Thanks in advance
