Gaming Monitor help

Looking for some help on picking out a monitor for my new pc. I am going to be playing mostly steam games(H1Z1, Rust, Borderlands, and maybe some others not sure yet). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 980Ti HoF edition, and I'm aiming at 1440p 144hz G-sync monitors! Thise seem to be the sweet spot for these cards! I'll order one probably next month!
