Hey guys,

I'm looking for a new gaming monitor, currently I am on a Syncmaster 191T 19" thing I have had for far too long!
1280 x 1024 is getting old haha

I'm upgrading gtx 970 and it's time for a monitor that can do FHD :)

Right now I am sick of reading reviews and things, have been for past few days and I think I'm going crazy and have confused myself even more.

Types of monitor I'm looking at: IPS/TN
I am a gamer through and through, mainly I'm on EvE Online, LoL, WoT, War Thunder and many other games including some FPS CS:GO etc

So I need a monitor that is good all around for fast paced to slower things.
I used to work in sales and especially on tv's I could notice the clear day and night difference on a faster hz tv, so I assume the same applies to a monitor and I'm sure the GTX970 will be able to push out stable FPS over 100 on most of these games I listed.

My budget is.. £0-300(300 is a push - would prefer 200-250)

Acer XB270HA 27" G Sync 144Hz - £320 ~ Better than AOC? I have no ideas on this one.

AOC G2460PG 144hz Gsync ~ £287 I believe on scan atm if it's worth it, I would go, but I am really not sure.

Asus VG248QE 144hz ~ £250 - no gsync (I know you can mod but wouldn't bother)

BenQ XL2411z? 2420z? ~ 220~250 tn's

IPS - HP2414H seems only decent gaming ips I can find, £180 decent price.. but at 60hz am I missing something?

Anyone know any other ips that are good for gaming across a broad range of slow and fast games?

I am sure I would see the difference at 120/144hz but.. is it worth the £££? (same with gsync) but overall I have no idea.

I look quality and colours but anything will look better than my current monitor, but I would also love to have some speed in terms of hz, so I feel I am leaning towards TN's.. preferably one with "decent" colour but I know I won't get IPS quality, unless reviews are being overly sensitive.
