Gaming Monitor Under $500

I am looking to get a 144hz, 1ms response time gaming monitor (24" or 27")for under $500. I have no desire for 3D, I just want the best quality monitor for my budget. Options I am looking at are the BenQ XL2720Z and the ASUS VG248QE, but I don't know if there are better options out there. My applicable computer specs are as follows:

Intel i7-4790K
Gigabyte GeForce GTX G1 GPU
ASUS Z97-A ATX Motherboard

In addition to my computer I will have my Xbox One connected to the monitor (I know this only outputs 60hz). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else have thoughts on the best way to go?

Try this link if it don't work just go to tigerdirect.com and type in benq XL2411Z. Its a very nice monitor 144hz 1ms. Here's the link agian.
