Gaming monitor!

Hi there

I have the option of buying the Dell U2212HM for $211.65 or the Dell U2312HM for $228.65.

I have read reviews on both and it seems as thought the smaller U2212HM has better colours and contrast, but the bigger U2312HM has less input lag.

I am mainly going to be gaming with games like BF3, MW3 and Skyrim so I need a fast monitor.

Size doesn't matter. The U2212HM is my preferred option but I am just worried about the input lag for gaming (FPS games mostly).

Will the U2212HM be slow for gaming and will I notice it or is it fast and unnoticeable. I don't want to get the U2312HM because of the lower DPI and colours.

So is the U2212HM going to give me the response time and input lag I need, or will it make my gameplay sluggish? I play online multiplayer and really would like to have the edge in the battlefield.

both are fine for me.

So cloudy2010, do you own the U2212HM and U2312HM? Do you notice significant input lag on the U2212HM? Is the U2312HM much faster? What is your recommendation on which monitor is better for gaming?
