I am looking for a good 24 inch monitor for gaming.
Price range: around $300 (NZD)

i'd get a BenQ.

ML238H may be exactly what you are looking for, and is around $200, a bit less i think even.

From what ive read the asus ve series has major ghosting issues.

Did you check out the ML238H? I think you may like it's price. The ML239H is an eIPS model that doesn't have too bad of ghosting - he has a video he recorded and put up that shows you how it looks with him playing a few different games.

If you can find a PX2370 Samsung monitor, I'd go with it though. They are just difficult to find, as they sell almost instantly.

Not really a fan of the ml238h as it has a big bezel.
I would prefer a black monitor with a thin bezel.
I quite like the asus vs248h.
Do anyone have this monitor?
