I am trying to figure out what mouse I should buy for gaming. I don't really play MMOs, mainly FPS and 3rd person games. Mainly anything but MMOs. Anyway, I have 7 mice in mind, and I don't know which one to get. The wireless mice have a wired mode, and that's what I'll use. NO WIRELESS! Anyway I'm looking at the ROCCAT Kone XTD, the Mad Catz Cyborg R.A.T 9, the CM Storm Reaper (JayzTwoCents is in love with this mouse), the new edition of the Razer Mamba, the Razer Deathadder, the Razer Ouroboros, or the Logitech G502 Proteus Core. I like the G502 because of the weight customization (I like a heavy mouse). I've also heard some bad things about Razer quality lately. I am a palm grip. What do you guys think is my best bet?

I like Razer mice, I think most of them are good. I cant remember who made it, but I saw a steel mouse that looked super awesome, with blue lighting inside of it.

Since you're mainly playing FPS games, accuracy is very important to you. As a result, I would stick with optical sensor mice. Laser sensors have acceleration which can make your aim off. Optical sensors do not have this and are better. Anyway, the Razer Deathadder is a pretty good optical mouse with a fairly good sensor. It's a highly rated mouse despite the Razer branding.

Rat 9, it is a brilliant mouse, its original profile/button configuration is set specifically for FPS, it also has a customization precision Aim button that will allow you to change the cursor speed when you are aiming and when you let it go it goes back to its originally set speed. The wireless is immaculate, i have had no flaws with it, all you will need is a decent surface. It also has 7 weight adjustments that come with it as well as numerous other accessories (mouse acc's) and the software allows for you to easily make macros and adjust mouse profiles for personal customization. I dont think i need to mention how good it looks. My source for this is myself since i am actually using my RAT 9 as i speak.
