I have a problem with my setup.

Right now, i own an amd a8 6600k basic setup. for the display output, my current setup is 19.5" Generic Monitor (the one Im using can serve as a TV when im not using the computer, no brandname because its from china)

now, i am going to live with my father. he has a 32inch LG monitor lying around so i said why not use it? but before doing that. I need to know if my setup would be able to push it. I just need it for light gaming like dota2, LoL, 2k14. May i ask if I could play those games with the most bearable resolution like 1280x720 or even the lowest. just so i could play with it.

If it matters, here is my rig:

Amd A8 6600k 3.9GHz
Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2
Kingston Fury 1866 4GBx1
Seagate 500GB 7200rpm
Corsair CX450
And the integrated GPU which is Radeon HD 8530.

I badly need this information...
Internet connection there is good so im evacuating haha

Solution
It should Work Fine

Depending on Model - Meaning a resolution of 1378x768 or Higher (or variance close to there of)
You may find your LG here: http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/all-tvs

You will need to check what plugs the TV supports IE a VGA/HDMI/DVI
Any of these will work for you.

Note that a 32" LG TV will be great for Viewing Movies but Suck for close up Typing
You will ideally Sit at least 3 feet away from the screen so you don't see the pixels and to make text look clearer.

so the minimum ram size for 32" with this kind of apu is 8gb?

im a little poor right now. haha but maybe next month i could buy the same module.

If right now, what are the possible frame rates for the lowest resolution? (dota2, thats what im onto right now) provided that ill buy the ram next month. i just want to use what i have right now.

anyways thankyou for your answers!

I must add you have a very capable casual gaming rig you really just need that dual speed ram once you add that you will be amazed how much better it will be i used that APU to play games on dolphin emulator and it worked well and i could even play games like far cry 3 on medium at 720P with smooth frame rate. Its a 40-50$ upgrade but its well worth it

Solution
You Only need more Ram if the LG Screen is like a 4K screen
32" Has nothing to do with Resolution
You current setup will Handle HD 1920x1080 fine for Video and Light Gaming

If you Need more FPS then A Graphics Card may be needed for smoother Gaming

^^^ jdwii If he can Afford the Extra Ram why not

Assuming he Has a 64Bit OS - And gets the Same brand and model of ram this may give him a few more FPS
If Only a 32 Bit OS will need to assign 4Gig of Video Ram

If he is going to Upgrade anything I would recommend a 1/2 Decent GFX Card for Best Bang for Buck
Especially If the LG Monitor is Native 1920x1080p that's the Way I would Definitely Go.
