gaming on dual monitor set up

so guys, i just want to know, will games perform better on just one monitor? for example, i have 2 monitors connected at the moment one i use for gaming the other i just use to at times while playing a game if i need to read a guide or whatever. you see what im saying. with 2 monitors connected will the game perform worse?

There is a difference, but it's usually very slight (a few FPS) especially if its just a image or guide.

Two of the same monitor gaming will get you half the fps of one.

i7Baby, Yes that's the case if you were to play the game across both monitors, but I think he means to only play on one while have some other funtion for the second.
