gaming on i3

Is i3 3210 and 3220 good for gaming with a r9. 280X vapor x or 270x toxic

Yeah, i3 is a pretty potent processor. It should be able to handle a r9 280X.

Can you get a haswell i3 4130? It would be faster.

Like Techy said, get Haswell. If you can squeeze it into your budget, go for an i5 4330.

You definitely want to get a 4th gen i3. Something like an i3 4150 would be great. Here is a 4th gen i3 performing extremely well with a 280x.
