Question Gaming on old computer

I have dug out my old Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P with Celeron 2.66 GHz CPU 1.24 GB RAM and am wondering if it would run Rome Total War. It has an Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller and I remember putting a second hard drive in it years ago. I have no idea about specs and requirements and would appreciate if anyone could give me some advice. Would I need a graphics card or is it not even worth trying?

From what I can find, the minimum requirement on the GPU front is:

VIDEO CARD: 64 MB 100% DirectX(R) 9.0b compatible Video Card

and I think that Intel graphics controller is going to be the biggest hurdle....

Thanks. If the CPU needs to be Pentium III or Athlon equivalent, would the Celeron meet that standard (it's 2.66GHz while the min game spec is 1GHz)?
Also, I assume I could add an old graphics card that would do the trick?

Not sure about upgrading.

The celeron should be ok.
