Gaming or non gaming mobos ?

Sir I want to build a video editing pc with i5 7400 processor to edit in premier pro. Which mobo is best for 1080p video editing among gigabyte ga b250m d3h and ga b250 gaming 3 ?

The gaming motherboard has PCIe x1 slots while the D3H motherboard has PCI slots. The gaming has RGB ligthing support that the D3H doesn't. The gaming 3 seems like a newer design. I don't think either one would be bad.

Both will give you the same performance and run 2400 memory.
I would just get the lower priced for the processor your using.

I would look at the i3 8100 paired with a budget Z370 board. It will give you better performance, faster clock speed, still 4 cores, and will allow you to use faster memory than 2400.
The i3 8100 also cost less.

BUT 8TH GEN MOBOS ARE COSTLY.

From US prices the 8100 cost about 40 bucks less with better performance so even if the Z370 cost 40 bucks more than the B250 you still get better performance and can use faster memory.
