Hello guys,

I'm really new to this whole opening the computer and changing things. I have friend that can help me with that ,but I would like to see what you guys think. What I am doing is upgrading my pre-bought P.C. I bought this gaming PC from staples it currently has.
CPU: Intel Core i3 4130 @ 3.40GHz,
Ram: 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28),
Motherboard: ASRock H81M-HDS (CPUSo
cket),
Graphics😀ELL E2214H (1920x1080@60Hz)///1023MB NVIDIA GeForce GT 610 (MSI), Storage:465GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA050 (SATA),

I'm currently looking at buying these things with a budget of about 600-620 (permalink):

I'm worried about the size of the case, because this computer has a micro GPU and motherboard. My friend says that it should work but that's not enough confirmation for me lol. Here are some pictures

It looks like this http://gamingpc2014.blogspot.com/2014/02/top-ibuypower-gamer-power-am649fx.html

But with red outline. I also think its an older version.

the corsair builder is crap

stay away from the CX and VS models, cheap parts
Sorry guys it wouldn't let me edit. I basically have three questions. Will everything fit in my case? Will a 500 watt battery be enough? Finally, and suggestions on if I can get a bigger bang for my buck.

the cx series power supply is not good, this is a much better choice

make sure you update the bios on the motherboard before swapping cpu's

do you have the specific model number on that pc? so i can see if the psu + video card will fit?

found one, is this the case?

LOL who told you that?

the cx and that b1 you linked are not good, due to poor parts not suitable for gaming systems

the xfx is top of the line

XD

I got a new build. I figured out my case and put in a new graphics card (because of size) and a better CPU. Also an additional two ram pieces. here is the permalink. Any suggestions?

you have a h81 motherboard, you should have gotten a i5 non K version, since you cannot overclock

do not waste money on more ram, for gaming 8gb is enough

ESPECIALLY since you cheaped out on the power supply

you need a GOOD 500w or better power supply

I've been searching again and put your reasons into my decisions. Here's the link pcpartpicker.com/p/CLPDpg

PS: im also wondering about a case about the same price as the one on the parts list. It needs to be a mid sized case and compatible with these parts.
