I'm in the process of selling my Acer Aspire V3 771G Laptop and using the funds from that and savings i have I'm looking to build a Gaming PC capable of running most of the latest games.

My budget is around £600-700 and would ideally like to stick with Intel/ nVidia and have no need to any peripherals, monitor or operating System. I do however need a CD drive and a wireless card to fit into my machine due to having no cabling in my current house. The case i would like to look nice and have good cable management/ airflow.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

With your budget, Intel/AMD would be the way to go. Nvidia just doesn't have a card at the same price and performance level that AMD cards in the price range you would be able to get. Hoping the GTX 960 shakes things up a bit in that regard.

256gb SSD and 802.11a wireless pcie card. But I would also wait and change that gtx 760 for a 960 if I were you OP, it should be out within the next few weeks.

That's what I get for looking at too many threads at once. A little over 700, but SLI capable.
