Hi guys,

I have posted on Tom's Hardware before about PC builds, currently I am after a new PC that is going to give me the best gaming performance for my money. I have looked at putting a list together myself, however have heard that for my budget, I could go SLI in that price range which would greatly improve the value for my money. So here are the critera:

-Not overclocking
-Strictly gaming only, no editing programs etc.
-Using one monitor for now, but would love to be able to use 2 if I want to
-Quiet and cool, I don't want to have problems in future with it overheating etc. (obviously)
- SSD + storage HDD. (As I am very interested in taking advantage of the increased speed in an SSD)
- No Case / colour preferences for me so go nuts, only really concerned on performance.

I have recently come up with this build, however as told that it would be possible at this price range to go SLI -

CPU: i5-4670k $275.00
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO $39.00
Mobo: ASRock H87 Performance ATX LGA1150 $125.00
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4gb) DDR3-1600 $109.00
Storage1: Samsung 840 Series 250g SSD - $195.00
Storage2: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200RPM - $99.00
Video Card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 770 2GB $479.00
Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case $99.00
PSU: XFX 650W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified $125.00
Optical Drive: LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer $22.00

Total - $1567.00

Any additions / subtractions / recommendations?

Any advice / builds you guys could recommend, I would greatly appreciate and it would really help me with narrowing down a list of items to creating my first build :)

Thank you.

Don't change a thing, it is perfect the way it is, if you want to future proof it upgrade your psu and sli a gtx 770 (or you could go with a gtx 780 but right now is not the best time to go with that wait for the price to drop).

Thanks, yeah I thought I had done pretty well with this build, had so many people saying "why didn't you go SLI or why not try AMD rather than intel. So I had doubts, but yeah power supply / add another GTX 770 in the future is always an option later on down the track which is good to know I have that option and will have a great PC for a few years.
