Hello,

I am going to build a new SFF PC for 2020 (even though I want to have it finished by mid-october).

It is going to be strongly based on this, but using some different internals:

I would, hereby, like to post the full spec list in order to receive advice, as I am by no means an expert in PC hardware and software and thus posting here and receiving constructive feedback may solve any potential doubting I still have. I do want to go for that case as it's the perfect size for my small gaming space; I understand that it's a constraint but it's quite important and giving it up can become a consideration but initially it's mandatory. Anyway, constructive reasoning against the case is more than accepted.

So here goes the spec list:

Stuff from GEEEK
GEEEK A30 Case https://www.geeekstore.com/store/case/
Custom PSU (from GEEEK's website) 400W https://www.geeekstore.com/shop/custom-flex-atx-modular-psu/
PCIe Riser from GEEEK as well https://www.geeekstore.com/shop/li-heat-pci-express16x-extension-adapter-riser-cable-300mm/

The rest (from Amazon or other spanish web stores for IT)
MB: Asus Strix B450-i
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Zotac RTX 2060 Super MINI 8GB
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 3200 2x8GB
CPU Cooling: Cryorig C7 (Cu if can find in stock in Spain)
SSD: M.2 PCIE Crucial P1 1TB

Questions:
  • My monitor is a DELL U3415W 34" Ultrawide with 3440x1440 resolution at 60hz. I seek to play maxed or nearly-maxed on native res and 60 fps. What do you think?
  • Is 400W enough to power all of this? Unfortunately they don't offer 500W so the jump would be towards 600W.
  • I will need to update BIOS on the MB for the Ryzen 3rd Gen. Is that risky? I might ask the shop to do it for me just in case.
  • I would go for RTX 2070 but I can't find a sizeable GPU to be fit into that case (211mm length max), only the 2060 Super is fit so far and it's also 2 fans which is a plus.
  • Should I go for Ryzen 5 3600X if it's 50€ more? It also comes with another cooler but I am told that the stock coolers are so so, also fitting inside that SFF case is a concern.
Games I intend to play (if it's relevant):
  • Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint
  • Call of Duty Modern Warfare
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Grand Theft Auto V/Online
  • Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Many thanks to everybody passing by and leaving a comment.

that psu is a no no, 450 is at least and I will get 550+
some review on the case: https://smallformfactor.net/reviews/geeek-a30-case-review-flat-pack-awesomeness/

To me, I will trust larger manufacturers for more samples/better customer service. customized PSU? A no no for me. Case? Maybe. PCIE riser? Not sure. I like a HTPC/mini ITX build more. Now return to your other questions.
2060 max 3440x1440p 60 fps? Not in demanding AAA titles for sure. 3600 is fine. Updating BIOS needs an old gen Ryzen chip, should be fine. super version is slightly faster, no point for the cost diff. Total budget? How small do you want it? Does it have to be this shape? Budget?
