Gaming PC around 1500€

No peripherals or drives needed.
The system is meant for gaming and some editing. I would like to SLI in the future will I be able to do so with this setup? I see that the motherboard only works x16 on the first PCI-e slot and in case of SLI that goes to both slots on x8 speed, does this mean any performance drop? Can i install an audio card on a slot without performance drop?
Also is it ok to use that high speed ram cause I see that Cpu supports up to 2133Mhz.Will those be compatible and do I have to do anything in the bios?
Feel free to suggest and propose me any replacements.
I was first thinking of getting an X99 platform and the 5820K but it seems to perform lower on gaming. What is your opinion on this since they cost about the same
P.S I would like to future-proof as much as possible

It looks nice, The PCI-e slot doesnt really make a difference between x8-x16. And yes you are able to do SLI with this setup. And you can install an audio card too without any issues. That ram looks good too and the motherboard does support it. Overall the setup is looking very good man

But a 850W power supply will not be enough (just neck to neck). For safe, Dual 980 ti needs at least 900W or more would be ideal.

I was thinking of getting a bigger PSU when I get the second card but I could also get it now.
Could you suggest me another Cpu Cooler because that is available only on newegg and i can not buy from there don't live in the US

I also have an old 700W Thermaltake that uses 8pin+6pin for gpu power and I was wondering if I could use it. Pretty simple PSU but i guess I can't risk burning my stuff
