[SOLVED] Gaming PC Build Advice

Hi all,

I am looking at getting a pc that will play Rome Total War 2 on high settings but still smooth. I will be playing older titles but rome 2 will the most needy. Im more bothered about smoothness than graphics. All advice will be appreciated.

Do you need any peripherals like mice, keyboard, monitor?

£300-£400 for tower alone. Im not bothered about future proofing as ive just bought a house and my man cave will be getting done in a year or so and then ill be building a better one. This one is just for the time being. Hope that makes sense. Cheers

Cheers for the list. What gpu would i need to play what i want to play.

There’s a GPU in that but you’d have to look at the min spec for the game.

Warhammer 2 isn’t helpful listing a 512GN DX9 card for min and a 1GB DX11 card for reccomended. But I’ve used a 2400g and it’s been able to run stuff like Overwatch relatively easily at 1080p low and Doom was playable at 900p low but better at 720/768p as it went over 60 easily.

Plus you can always throw in more RAM and a GPU, probs more storage too and the PC would be fine for pretty much anything.
