Gaming pc build final decision debate

Ive come down to these 2 set ups and im unsure what to go with, if there is anything even better for about the same price you can add that into my debate.
So to the point its between these 2 builds:

set up one:
mobo: msi A88x-G45 gaming
cpu: amd a10-6800k

set up two:
mobo: msi atx 970 gaming
cpu: amd fx 8370 black edition

and im rather settled for the msi radeon r9 290x for the gpu in my pc.
i was going to get the gtx 970 but decided with the memory problem to avoid it.

and i need a recommendation for a good gaming monitor under 300 bucks.

Update:
i have an 800 watt corsair psu, could use a good ssd suggestion, and gaming mouse and keyboard, im thinking about the madcatz cyborg rat 9 for a mouse and no clue for a keyboard, id preffer it to be a soild backing behind the keys, but it doesnt really matter.

Well, those two systems seem quite a bit apart, since the A10 is usually seen as a budget CPU while the FX 8370 is seen as an enthusiast AMD CPU...
If you were to only choose from those two, I would go with the AMD FX 8370, however, if you don't mind going with Intel, I would recommend an Intel build instead. Intel will offer better performance in games and is overall a better CPU in most programs you'll run.

Not at all, I wouldn't touch those cheap SSDs with a 10 foot pole. Sandisk makes some good ones - mainly the Extreme 2 line - but in that price range the only thing I'd recommend would be the Samsung 840 / 850 Evo, they're among the best right now you can buy.

An SSD is an SSD, isn't it? Unless its being written/read 24/7 365 in a 120 degree Fahrenheit server room, it should be fine.

But the thing is, will people actually notice these small 10-30 megabyte differences? I certainly wouldn't.

You definitely would copying large amounts of data, like movie files or game files.

i personally prefer intel but found these two cpus and by comparison of speeds and everything figured id save the money. Is there really that big of a difference with the intel cpu?

Also is there an msi motherboard for the intel chipset that has integrated graphics support? because i know intel makes a chip with gpu, so i guess what would the chip be and the mobo for it, msi or not, but msi preferred.

From an anandtech bench comparison, the i5 usually wins out except maybe in a few multi-threaded applications.

As for the i7, if you are willing to spend the money, it's definitely better than the i5, but if you're only gaming, that CPU is a waste of an extra $100; games don't utilize the hyper threading of the i7 (they just dont use that many cores) so unless you're doing video editing and the such, go with the i5 and get an SSD.

Also, Intel's integrated graphics are terrible for anything other than web surfing and the such

well that helps a lot because I am a YouTuber and render videos on a daily basis so thats really good to know.

and for my other question then, im not too worried about the intergrated graphics now, is the msi z97 gaming mobo worth it? and the r9 290x?
