Gaming PC Build - First Time

Solution
Well, the following suggestion is a bit of different one, for a different perspective. This way you shave 10 dollars of the total price, and you can add a second GTX 970 if you wished because the motherboard and power supply (Good quality + High wattage) support SLI! Beware that you cannot overclock the CPU in this setup. For that you'd need an i5-4690k. The H97 Fatal1ty Killer does not support SLI. If there is no plans for SLI, you can keep the complete previous setup and if you want change the EVGA GS 550w to the EVGA B2 750w to save money.

I actually thought I added that one. Didn't read the whole name of it.

So other than that is everything else looking pretty good? And if so, what kind of performance can I expect out of this build.
Resolution/Fps/anything else you can think of wise.

Also thanks for the help

Well honestly, your weakest part is your CPU. Not that it's weak...it's just that your GPU is pretty good and your ram is adequate. The CPU is just okay. You should see playable framerates from most of today's games, likely in the 40-50FPS range on high settings. You might see a little bit of bottlenecking from the CPU, but maybe not.

The price/performance ratio of this build is simply poor. You can get a PC that performs up to 30% better in games at the same price point.

It would look really good too. Bit identical to mine. If you want get a GTX 970 along with the same build.

So I just changed the PSU and the Video Card from the one you posted.

This will do more good.

Is there anyway besides hurting the CPU and graphics card that I could bring down the price a bit more?

So I feel stupid for not finding/mentioning this earlier but I'm mostly going to be playing League of Legends which is apparently not that demanding of a game. So I should be okay with a GTX 960?

If I do play other games the 960 should be able to keep up? Not as great as the 970 but still ok?
And if I need to I could always replace the 960 with the 970?
