Okay, so I want a to order some parts to build a gaming pc that will run DayZ Standalone on medium graphics, I won't be recording or anything, just using a mic in game. I'll only be playing a max of two hours a day so I don't want to blow a bunch of money, DayZ will be the only game I'll play on it. Can anyone suggest some builds, preferably as cheap as possible but something that I can have fun with no lag, just decent graphics and smoothness

$550 usd is max for me at the moment to be honest, I need the case to be big enough to where if I wanted I could easily swap out parts and upgrade to bigger/better componets

this is the best i could come up with. i did not include operating system in it.
It will run dayz at 1080p medium settings. 50-60fps in open and the usual 20 in towns. the game isnt optimized well but ive heard rumors that there will optimize it big time soon.

here is a good guess:

Storm-cooled72 - your build isnt suitable for dayz. Dayz standalone is very cpu intensive game and does not require a gpu like gtx 960 which might be good for games like crysis or far cry.

may i suggest using the local craigslist? Here is what I found on mine:

i7-950+Asus ASUS P6X58D Premium+Antec liquid cooler+8gb crucial ballistics elite for $275
Thermaltake LEVEL 10 GT (GREAT case)+700w silent PRO modular psu for $160
Samsung 850 PRO Solid State Drive SSD 256GB for $100
GTX 960 Gigabyte for $130

TOTAL: $650 (for a BEAST gaming rig with huge upgrade potential)
