Solution
best bet is to downgrade to an i5-6600k

however going for a 1070 for 1000pounds is kinda tough without cutting back at key components.
for your usage, an i7 migh be worth it but if you don't got the money, the i5 will do

The pair of 16GB Viper DDR4 is the last one in stock, so better act quick.

An i5 6600k + GTX 1070 in the absolute worst case scenario draws ~370W (~110W for the CPU and ~200W for the GPU, adding MB/SSD/HDD/Fans/RAM) and would draw less power under general gaming scenario. 850W is for i7k+SLI GTX 1080 tier.

I like Isokolon's build as it will simply look really good, and performance will be pretty sweet aswell. I would use better looking RAM though + One that's higher speed. Especially since it doesn't cost much more anyway like this:

Personally I would dump the high end AIO water cooler. Saves around £40 if you move over to the 212 Evo which has been shown to cool even an OC'd 6700K. Yes, it fits in that case.

I'd switch over to https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817438053 / It's a high end PSU that comes with a 7 year warranty. Not 1, 3 or even 5!(thank you Capt. Obvious:D ). Shows a commitment to the customer and or confidence in the PSU's quality.

While https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813132691&cm_re=Z170-_-13-132-691-_-Product doesn't have any red in it the grey doesn't clash with the case design. It is also better equipped than the motherboard in your parts list. Better equipped and less expensive(over here).

Notice I didn't touch the CPU or GPU. Games such as BF1 and more than a few others just don't like i5 CPUs. Sure the 6600 will perform admirably but not as well as the i7 will with CPU intensive titles. Simulators LOVE the CPU as well. Toss in the Vive or Rift and the i7 becomes that much more important. Looking ahead with DX12 and I'd regret stepping down from 6700. It also comes in handy with recording and editing should you use YouTube.
