So i am going to be doing some hardcore gaming on this pc on games such as bf3, arma 2, crysis franchise. I just want to know if i can high/max settings these with a 1600x900 res. Looking to get about 40+ fps

Also idk if it would be fine to just save some money and go with a hd 7850 or reg 7870. Because it isnt going to be in full 1080p

Phenom II X4 965 because it'll be gaming better than the FX you choosed and beside the Phenom II X4 965 can be "OverClocked"... Games for the next few years wont benefit anything more than 4 Cores and for the HAF 912 you'll need side fan for your GPU because it "can" overheat and I'd prefer you get the Antec GX700 for $59 and it's the most value case out there...

based on "gaming" FX isn't a big different at all when compared to Phenom x4($30 cheaper), it's like a i5 2500k to i5 3570k(people would actually get the 2500k if on strict budget)...
