Gaming PC build help!

First, I don't really trust the site and I want things to work because it's my first time, so if you know if this works.
Second is there anything I should change to make it run faster or have better graphics better storage ECT for about the same price.

Also forgot to mention that mouse keyboard and OS aren't really necessary unless windows 8 is a lot better the windows 7. I just added them because they were there and I thought I'd see how much it would be for them.

PCPartpicker is just a site for looking for the cheapest price for getting pc components. It may not be always accurate so you should check prices on the actual retailer website.


I would swap the psu for a better quality psu. Corsair VS series aren't good.
PSU:
XFX 550W/650W,
Seasonic 550W/620W
or Antec 620W

Do you need two optical drives or did you accidently included two.

You overspending on the keyboard rather than on the cpu or gpu.
Bump up the cpu to a FX 6300 or FX 8320.

Consider getting a GTX 970 or a R9 280X.

Get an Intel i3. FX 4xxx suck for gaming

Get a MUCH cheaper motherboard with the i3

Get a better quality PSU

Get a cheaper M+K and put the money towards a better GPU

I've got this now but I'm not sure what memory and video card I should get. I plan to run games smoothly at medium to high settings and maybe a bit of recording and editing. BTW I accidentally put to optical drives in my bad.

Can you find a website selling the motherboard and psu?
If not we need to find you other alternatives.

A R9 270 should run previous AAA titles at 40-50 fps at ultra settings. For newer games expect lower fps.

I'm fine with that 40-50 fps on older games even at ultra. I'll play newer games at lower settings because I'm not too fussed about it.
