Take the following into account:
The i5 4460 is a quad, just like the 8350 in quite a few situations due to each couple of cores sharing resources and cores having to wait on one another to get things done. They say parallelism will allow the 8350 to perform better, when in fact, in real life situations the 8350 is not any more capable of parallel work than an i5 is. I own an 8350. If I were you, I'd go theIntel way, especially since you're not limited by the motherboard. There are few situations in which the 8350 outperforms the i5, but in most cases the i5 is a better choice.
