So should i use I5 4460 - r9 280X

Or
8350 - r9 280X

Thanks buying tomorrow

Solution
Take the following into account:
The i5 4460 is a quad, just like the 8350 in quite a few situations due to each couple of cores sharing resources and cores having to wait on one another to get things done. They say parallelism will allow the 8350 to perform better, when in fact, in real life situations the 8350 is not any more capable of parallel work than an i5 is. I own an 8350. If I were you, I'd go theIntel way, especially since you're not limited by the motherboard. There are few situations in which the 8350 outperforms the i5, but in most cases the i5 is a better choice.
This is my favorite 280X, it's got great cooling capability and the fans are silent. It's got an amazing price too, get it soon to take advantage of...

Solution
^i5 for sure. Another huge plus is it's efficiency. It should outgame the 8 core powerhog with at least 30% less power. Quieter CPU cooling profile to go with the quiet GPU cooler.

Intel CPU's > AMD CPU's

I have a R9 280(non x) and it plays games at Ultra/High at 1080p 60+fps,its a Great GPU for 1080p

if you get amd fx8350 it needs a good CPU cooler.,but you should get the i5 imo because Minecraft(i have almost 200 mods) is very CPU intensive its the only game to use 50% Of my I7 4790k CPU and almost all of my 8gb ram..,Make fun of Minecraft but it can beat the hell out of any CPU with enough mods.

AMD is a good budget CPU but Intel is WAY better for performance, you mite regret getting amd in the future if you play cpu intensive games 😛
