Hello all,
I am new to PC and have heard that it is heaps cheaper to build your own. I am looking to build a gamin PC with a budget of $700 (it's the best I can do)

I don't know what the bet components are for their prices, but for the case I'm liking the Corsair SPEC-02.
However I am unsure which CPU's, power supplies, graphics cards and motherboards give the most bang for the buck.

If I am missing something important please let me know :)

Solution
700 AUD doesn't get you a terrible lot. Definitely a system that can handle medium-high graphics though. Will you need an OS?

Solution

Thanks, I don't think I will be running to graphic intensive games, I have windows 7 on my old laptop so there must be a way to transfer it.

Hello master dell, I have made my own on pcpartpicker,
http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/vftrgs
No I have gone with i3 because I have heard it is decent for gaming (and that it beats amd). All of the parts above are available at a store nearby to me, so it makes things heaps easier. Also, I'm not fussed about the motherboard. (Apologies for my noobishness) - thanks for your help mate
