I'm looking to get a new pc but i really want to attempt to build one but the problem is i don't know too much on how to actually build it, to give you an idea of what id like it to do is basically be able to run battlefield 4 on ultra settings and get at least 80 frames and my budget is $1230. Now something i fear is that if i attempt to buld this i feel i may end up getting incompatible components and that ill mess something up so basically what im asking is if somebody could redirect me to components that would be able to run bf4 on ultra atleast 80 frames and would all be compatible with eachother and also maybe a good tutorial on how to put a pc together correctly

Here's my first go at it. You can build a rig with a 780 at that price but the quality of other components will take a hit.

Solution

really nice build there, the 770 will be perfect for single monitor gaming. if you want to play on 2 or more than we would factor that 780 in there somehow, but as it stands its a wonderful build. you can play all games at ultra with ease and very playable framerates

A monitor isnt very necessary because i have my tv but i wouldnt mind a smaller one with a good hd resolution something around 24 inch maybe

that build is lacking an OS, so you need to remove a lot more than the SSD. I'm assuming the OP needs an OS.

K ill prob go with this one and might drop the gpu from 770 to 760 just so I can upgrade to 2tb or that way I can up to i7 but anyways thanks a ton for the help ill try to order the parts on Friday till then I'm gonna look more into building

Mantle is suppose to do a lot of things, including have been released already. I didn't choose a 280x because they are still $400 and the ones that are somewhat normal priced (which are still $50 over release price) are out of stock. The 770 will run BF4 at ultra with 60+fps so why deal with the hassle of AMD right now?

ok so i was wondering if this would also be a solid build that i was able to put together just to see now this build costs $1266 which i could get the extra $30 from a friend but anyways heres the build so ya if you could tell me which one you feel is better that would be great and also this build is actually prebuilt off a website thats having a sale right now origninally this would cost atleast $1900 the site is IBUYPOWER
