I am looking at building my first gaming pc and would appreciate some advice on what to buy. First of all my brother would be giving me his old motherboard which I think is an ASUS M5 A99X although I am not 100% sure and a corsair water cooler.
I was looking at spending approximately £400 on the rest of the parts.
AMD 6300fx or 8320fx £79-£109
ASUS R9270x £138
8Gb Corsair Vengance Ram 1600mhz £60
60gb SSD £40
1TB HDD £45
Any recommendations on a good power supply and a nice case to fit everything in too?

Should I swap any components I have picked for alternatives and also which of the 2 processors I should choose?
How good will it play games like battlefield 4 and watch dogs?
And would it be on par with a PS4 or Xbox one for games?
Thanks in advance for the replies

The FX 6300 would get you under £400.

Thank you for the replies! I don't mind going over budget if its worth doing so. I'll start ordering the parts next week. Then down the line would it be worth cross firing the graphics card or getting a new one all together because I'm guessing that would need replaced first?
