Yes they will work well together. What is your budget? You could actually do a lot better for that price.

Like TechyInAZ said, the 4690k and Z97 motherboard would be better.
You do not need a 750w psu for this build. 600w is more than enough.
 
you could save money on the PSU...Seasonic is great but thats a pricey unit IMO. Heres an Antec that is probably Seasonic made as it is, or Delta. 850W because if youre going to go over 650W (for SLI potential) you may as well go big, and its a good deal. 750W sits awkwardly in the middle kinda, to me at least.
