Here is a very powerful, and future proof build with options to overclock later on, it is intel btw, and this will be excellent for gaming AND video editing, it is probably even better than AMD cpus with 8 cores, simply because of the sheer high performance of each of the cores in the i7 4790k and hyperthreading:

This comes with a massive 512gb ssd for booting and your favourite applications, and with a 2tb hdd for general storage, which is pretty much as much as you need, if you want a larger one, just spend around $20 more for a WD 3tb hard drive which is approximately $100.
If you want to save around $20 just downgrade the cooler to a Cooler master Hyper 212 EVO.
