Gaming PC build

Solution
Don't listen to them. Do what you like. For me 120GB ssd is more than enough. Your problem is not the SSD, it is that you have an unlocked CPU with aftermarket cooler made for overclocking and yet you have a motherboard which does not support overclocking. If you want to overclock, get a Z170 motherboard.

Thanks gingerbread for pointing out my mobo problem, I've switched to a Z170A tomahawk motherboard. I'll definitely consider (and probably end up getting) and 240/250gb SSD. Thanks all for your help!

The next motherboard is around $50 more expensive than the tomahawk and it would be the msi Z170A gaming m3.

UPDATE: I could go with the asrock fatal1ty z170 gaming. Is that a good motherboard?

I would not buy any OCZ SSDs, I had bad experiences with OCZ SSDs.
I know it was 6 years ago as the SSD was not yet as good as today but I still have the feeling that OCZ is only cheap and not that good.

120GB if you put only Windows is doable but you are really very limited. I have been using Crucial M4 128GB since years and I know very well the limitation, if you have only 128GB. You will run out of space very fast.
With Win10, basic need programs e.g. Ms. Office, etc. you get already about 50GB full or more.

You will most likely not put any games on the SSD, since there is close to no benefit of having games on SSD.
Most games do not benefit from SSD.
However, if you have games which benefits greatly from SSDs like Skyrim+tons mods and you would probably wanna put such games on the SSD. There you have it with only 120GB, after only 1 game and you do not have for anything else anymore.
